Nestle Kuban Invested 100 Million Rubles to Upgrade the Technology of the Agglomerated Coffee Production

The company has updated the technology to produce agglomerated instant coffee under the brand of NESCAFÉ® Classic.

According to the information reported by the company, the funds were invested in the new technology of filtering coffee, which improved the taste of the beverage. During the production of agglomerated soluble coffee, the beans are cleaned, roasted and crushed to fine particles. The next process step is removing solubles with hot water under pressure. After cooling, the resulting extract is filtered. After filtration, the extract is passed through the evaporation plant, dried with hot air and forms into granules by means of steam.

It is necessary to add that Nestle Kuban is one of the largest investment projects of the Nestle Company in Russia. At present time, the total investments amount to 11.5 billion rubles.
